Home Insurance Property Checks
Reliable home oversight scheduled property checks to keep your home secure
Home Property Check
Our Home Property Check provides scheduled, in-person monitoring of your home while you are away, ensuring it remains secure, stable, and properly maintained.
Provide details about your animals, property, and any special routines at the time of booking. Customized care ensures your farm is safe, cared for, and monitored exactly as you require.
This service is ideal for homeowners who want documented oversight while their home is occupied intermittently or fully furnished during travel.
What’s Included in an Occupied Home Property Check
During each scheduled visit, I will:
Arrive at the scheduled time and complete a full interior and exterior walkthrough
Check doors, windows, locks, and general security
Monitor temperature, visible plumbing issues, and appliance status
Observe for signs of damage, leaks, or unusual conditions
Securely lock the home upon departure
Use a standardized insurance property checklist covering all general home areas
Take notes and photos if required
Communicate immediately if anything appears out of place or concerning
Each visit may take up to 1 hour if documentation, notes, photos, or client communication are required.
During the insurance walkthrough, I ensure your property is prepared for the visit and that access to the home is managed smoothly. As part of this service, I complete a thorough home check, document the property with photos, and follow a standardized checklist to ensure everything is properly noted.
If anything arises that is above and beyond the scope of the home check, documentation, and checklist, additional coordination or time required will be billed at my standard hourly rate.
Should an issue require repair or further attention, the homeowner will need to provide a trusted contractor. I am happy to coordinate access to the property, meet contractors on site, or communicate your needs clearly to them to ensure the work is handled efficiently.
Additional services such as contractor coordination, property access, and follow-up visits can be arranged as needed to ensure everything is handled with care and professionalism.
